Radon (Rn) Gas

Radon is a radioactive gas that has been found in homes all over
the U.S.
It comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil,
rock and water, and it gets into the air we breathe.  Typically,
radon moves up through the ground and enters a homes
foundation through cracks and holes.  Your home can trap this

Our office is able to test for radon gas in your home by setting up
sampling canisters for a four to five day period.
Molds produce tiny spores to reproduce.  Mold spores waft
through the indoor and outdoor air continually.  When mold
spores land on a damp spot indoors, they may begin growing
and digesting whatever they are growing on in order to survive.

Our office is
ESA certified to perform Indoor Air Quality Testing
& Mold/Mildew Investigations.  Whether it be sampling of spores
through swabbing or acquiring air samples using pumps, we
can have lab tests performed to determine the types of
mold/mildew and spore counts usually within 48 hours.
Lead affects homes built before 1978.  Lead based paint was
used almost universally in homes until the 1950's and was used
to a lesser degree in the 1960's and 1970's.

The main concern with lead is that
exposure can harm young
children, babies and even unborn children.
 People can get lead in
their bodies by breathing or swallowing lead dust or by eating soil
or paint chips with lead in them.

Our office is able to perform surface checks for lead using
chemically treated test swabs.
Fuel-burning appliances such as your furnace, gas water heater,
gas clothes dryer, fireplace, gas range or space heater  are
potential sources.  Properly maintained appliances produce very
little CO and will not cause a problem.  However, improperly
operating appliances, your auto, or any non-vented indoor fire can
cause CO poisoning.
Initial symptoms of CO poison are similar to
the flu without a fever: dizziness, nausea, fatigue, headaches and
irregular breathing.

Our office is able to use state of the art electronic equipment to
determine the presence of CO or CO2 gases.

“You found problems with my
home that not even the seller was
aware of.  Thank you."

Water sampling is something that is fairly simply performed and
can tell you exactly what you and your family are drinking,
cooking with, cleaning with and bathing with.
Water samples are
tested for Bacteria (Coliform & E-Coli), Pesticides, Lead, Iron,
Copper, Chlorine, Nitrate, Nitrite, Alkalinity, Color, Clarity & PH

Samples are taken from the site, preserved and analyzed by an
accredited lab with results usually within 72 hours.
Water Sampling/Testing
Many homes today have appliances that utilize combustible
gases for fuel (Natural Gas, Propane, etc...).  While these are
excellent fuel sources,
a leak of the fuel at an appliance
component, valve or a puncture within a service line can be
dangerous to your health and ultimately an explosive hazard.

Our office is able to check all exposed and accessible
combustible gas lines and appliances for leaks.  Our checks
include Natural Gas, Propane, Acetelyne, Butane, Methane,
Methanol, Gasoline, Ethanol, Benzene, Industrial Solvents, Paint
Thinners, Hydrogen, Hexane and many others.
